The coral reef, 900 meters from the beach, protects the lagoon from the waves of the Indian Ocean.
At low tide the water is flat inside the reef and there is a lot of space for kite surfers.
The waves on the reef is absolutely amazing, also for wave boarding.
Diani Beach offers you a down wind from Kongo River in the north, to Mvureni Beach in the south – app. 12 km.
Foil-boards are getting popular in Diani - perfect conditions already 2 hours after low tide.​
